Technology Lesson Demonstration Assignment

For the technology lesson demonstration assignment, I chose to use Nearpod to help teach a math lesson for my fourth-grade special education class. The lesson was “Subtraction with Regrouping: Two-Digit Numbers”. This technology was extremely helpful in reinforcing the skills needed for this particular math lesson. I liked how the lesson was premade and I could skip any slides that I didn’t feel were necessary for the lesson. The link was easy for my students to click and get into the lesson. While I was teaching the lesson, my students were able to work in real time and I was able to gauge their understanding. If I needed to differentiate this lesson, I could have my students tell me their answer verbally or write it on a piece of paper with a pencil and show it to me in the camera.
